On Friday, the House of Representatives passed long needed reforms for K-12 education. Congressman Weber (R-Friendswood) made the following statement:

“Today’s passage of The Student Success Act is a major step in empowering, states, local school districts, and parents to make critical decisions for their children’s educational future. Since 2001, The No Child Left Behind Act has demonstrated that federal bureaucratic control of education fails our students. I trust our states; I trust Texas; and I trust those who work directly with our students to help our nation’s future achieve their dreams.”
