Home Depot to Hold Hurricane Preparedness Workshops

With Hurricane season upon the Texas Gulf Coast, Home Depot is doing their part to get families prepared. Home Depot will be hosting workshops from Texas to Maine on how to get your home prepared for hurricane weather. Congressman Randy Weber (R-Friendswood) is encouraging all the residents in District 14 to take advantage of these free workshops.

“Being a part of the Gulf Coast community for the past 59 years, I understand the time it takes to protect your home from potential storm damage,” said Congressman Randy Weber (R- Friendswood). “Hurricane Rita and Ike have taught us a very important lesson…We must be prepared for the worst in order to protect our families, homes and community. I appreciate that Home Depot is being proactive and providing such vital information to those interested from the Gulf Coast to New England.”

Hurricane Preparedness Workshops are free and will be held on Saturday, July 27 from 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. local time. Participating stores and registration information are located at workshops.homedepot.com.
