Weber Supports Micah's Law

Washington D.C. – The House of Representatives passed H.R. 36, Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act. This bill is commonly referred to as “Micah’s Law”. Congressman Randy Weber (R – Friendswood) released the following statement:

“The science is clear. At 20 weeks, babies can feel pain. This bill protects the fundamental American belief that we have an unalienable right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. As endowed by our Creator, this right starts at the moment of conception, and absolutely exists at 20 weeks.

I am proud to co-sponsor and support this bill. Thank you, Mr. Franks for introducing this important piece of legislation.”
