Weber Statement on Passage of Appropriations FY18

Washington D.C. – On Thursday, September 14, the U.S. House of Representatives voted on the appropriations bills for fiscal year 2018.The appropriations fund Agriculture; Commerce, Justice, and Science; Financial Services; Homeland Security; Interior; Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education; State and Foreign Operations; Transportation and Housing and Urban Development; Defense; Legislative Branch; Military Construction and Veterans Affairs; and Energy and Water. Upon passage of the bill, Congressman Randy Weber (R – Friendswood) released the following statement:
“For the first time since I’ve been in Congress, your House of Representatives passed all 12 appropriations bills through regular order. This is remarkable. I would like to thank the Appropriations Committee for their tireless efforts, attention to conservative detail, and determination to get the job done. I hope everyone realizes what an accomplishment this is.”
