FREEPORT — President Barack Obama’s signature on a $12.3 billion water resources bill Tuesday is expected to help make Port Freeport’s channel-deepening project a reality.
The Water Resources Reform Development Act of 2014 reached the president’s desk after the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate overwhelmingly voted to pass the bill earlier this year.
