Washington, DC,
July 8, 2016
Today, House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) named Congressman Randy Weber (R-TX) to serve on a bipartisan conference committee tasked to resolve differences between the House and Senate over the National Defense Authorization Act. Congressman Weber released the following statement: “The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) is a critical piece of legislation that will help close the readiness gap of our military, provide a much-needed pay increase to the men and women who serve and protect our country, as well as keep dangerous terrorists from being transferred to the United States. I look forward to working with my colleagues to ensure our military response will be prepared and ready. ” ### |
