Congressman Randy Weber (TX-14) released the following statement on the recent arrest of an Iraqi refugee who is part of a suspected terror threat in Houston:

“The threat is real, and it’s time for the President to admit it. Texas is one of the first few states being forced to resettle refugees due to the chaos in the Middle East. Instead of putting America first, this Administration is putting America in harm’s way.  I am urging the President to work with Congress by halting refugees from entering the United States until we can guarantee proper screening of every individual.”
