Today, the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) announced which Members of Congress received the NAM Award for Manufacturing Legislative Excellence. Representative Randy Weber (R-Friendswood) made the list with a 93-percent rating.

“The things that make America great, are the things that America makes,” said Representative Weber. “Our manufacturing industry is vital in creating jobs and helping grow our economy. It is important that Congress champion policies that will allow the industry to compete globally and improve standards for manufacturing workers. I am proud to stand with our manufacturers and will continue to be an advocate so we can develop a modern workforce.”
