Tonight, the United States House of Representatives voted on legislation to provide emergency funding to assist the State of Israel with the rapid production and deployment of the Iron Dome defense system. Congressman Randy Weber (R-Friendswood) made the following statement:

“Tonight, our vote will provide vital assistance to our greatest ally in the Middle East. We must stand with Israel, and provide them with the means to protect their people. The Iron Dome is an integral defense mechanism, preventing the terrorist organization Hamas from inflicting even more damage upon the civilian populations within Israel.”
