Weber Tours Galveston Oil Spill
Washington, DC,
April 1, 2014
Yesterday, Congressman Randy Weber (R-Friendswood) took a tour of the Galveston oil spill to witness the cleanup efforts first hand and to assess the potential impacts to his district along the coast. “I took this tour so that I could report back to my constituents to reiterate that everything is being done to mitigate this situation, and to ensure that our area stays clean and pristine,” said Congressman Weber. “I am thoroughly impressed by this operation and appreciate the tireless efforts by everyone involved in this cleanup.” For questions regarding the spill please visit the Coast Guards’ website at www.uscgnews.com.
