American Oil > Venezuela Oil

energy

President Biden continues to turn to foreign dictators and adversaries for our energy needs rather than encouraging more oil and gas production here at home. Over the weekend, President Biden issued permits to drill oil in Venezuela. Earlier this month, he vowed "no more drilling" in the United States.

Instead of reversing course on his rush-to-green agenda and war on American energy, President Biden is ceding our global leadership by making it easier for foreign dictators to profit off of American consumers and use energy as a weapon. Since day one of his administration, President Biden has stifled domestic energy production to further his failing Green New Deal agenda. Now, as his energy crisis worsens, Biden is turning his back on domestic energy production in favor of a Socialist regime.

Right out of the gates in 2023 when we reclaim the majority, House Republicans will reverse the damages of President Biden's energy crisis with solutions that unleash America's vast energy abundance and prioritize clean, efficient, American-made energy.

Bottomline: President Biden would rather rely on dictators for our energy supply than allow more than capable energy producers (like the ones in Texas) to produce right here in the United States.

Border Crisis

border

Just in time for Christmas, U.S. Border Patrol agents are now warning they could face an "overwhelming" 18,000 illegal crossings a day at the southern border following the court-ordered end of Title 42 on December 21st. This is TRIPLE the current daily average of illegal immigrant encounters under the Biden administration.

The Biden administration has repeatedly denied the historic crisis at our southern border and called for an end to Title 42. Now, they clearly have NO plan to address the root causes of our historic border crisis once the dam breaks. House Republicans will fight to secure our border and conduct crucial oversight in the new majority.

President Biden's policies have allowed the southern border to be wide open. Of the over 4 million illegal border crossings recorded by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) since Biden took office, thousands of "gotaways" evade capture and cross our border into the country every day.

Last month set a record: Over 73,000 "gotaways" – the highest monthly total ever.

This week, the White House claimed President Biden has already been to the border. But he hasn't. President Biden and Border Czar Harris must visit the border immediately to see firsthand the crisis they have created.

Bidenflation is the Grinch Who Stole Christmas

Grinchinflation

Whether it’s the Christmas tree or the gifts under it, inflation is stealing Americans’ Christmas cheer this year. Over 70% of Christmas tree growers plan to raise prices this year as much as 15% in order to afford rising production costs. According to the National Retail Federation, shoppers could pay more for less as they are expected to spend up to 8% more this year on holiday goods because of rising costs. Now, small businesses are bracing for declining sales as Americans plan to cut back.

Bidenflation is Americans’ unwelcome guest this holiday season. House Republicans will rein in Joe Biden’s reckless spending in the new majority to fight our inflation crisis.
