Randy's End of the Year Wrap-Up Working for You, Fighting for Our Values As 2021 comes to an end, we reflect on the year that is now behind us and look forward to the new year ahead. Once again, our nation faced many challenges this past year, resulting from the failed policies of the Biden Administration. These many challenges are difficult. Families have lost loved ones, faced difficulties keeping businesses open and, in some cases, trouble keeping food on the table and a roof over their family’s head. However, as Americans and as Texans, we are strong. Weare resilient and we know that with prayer and perseverance, things will turn around.I want you to know that, as your Representative in Congress, fighting for our values and our Texas way of life is first and foremost on my mind every single day. Some days, that means blocking a piece of legislation or moving it through a committee or on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives. On other days, that means pushing back hard against legislation and priorities that don’t match our values. Right now, I am spending much of my time fighting against proposals that promote bigger government, more taxes and less opportunity for American workers and families. The good news is, we can still right this ship and 2022 is the year to do it!

As 2021 comes to an end, we reflect on the year that is now behind us and look forward to the new year ahead. We
are resilient and we know that with prayer and perseverance, things will turn around.

I want you to know that, as your Representative in Congress, fighting for our values and our Texas way of life is first and foremost on my mind every single day.

Fighting Back

✔ I am always using all of the tools available to fight for you in Congress:

✔ The opportunity to represent you is a great honor. I have never and will not ever proxy vote.

✔ As a member of the Freedom Caucus, we ensure a recorded vote is required on EVERY piece of significant legislation. No procedural voice votes, expediting the voting process, and making it easier for the majority to make bad policies into law. We fight back and slow the process and require every vote to be counted.

✔ Join Amicus Briefs to the U.S. Supreme Court to make sure that the Justices know how Congress feels about important questions that come before the Court.
