Are you visiting Washington, DC, this summer? My office and the Capitol belong to YOU. I love having the great people of Texas in DC. My office is happy to assist you with your upcoming visit to Washington, DC. All tickets provided to constituents are free of cost and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Touring the Capitol
In order to tour the United States Capitol, advance reservations are required. Individuals, families, and small groups (15 or fewer people) can create an account and reserve a tour date here. Reservations are available 90 days in advance.
Constituents of Texas' Fourteenth Congressional District may also request a tour on the Tour Request page. We offer staff-led tours to constituent groups of up to 15 people. Again, please request early, as there are still limitations on the number of groups that can visit each day.
Please stop by and visit YOUR office. You can pick up House and Senate Floor Gallery passes at the office.
Touring the White House
As a congressional office, we are happy to facilitate your request; however, it is ultimately up to the White House to confirm a tour. Public tours are typically available from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, excluding Federal holidays or unless otherwise noted. If your tour is confirmed, please note that you will be assigned a specific time. All White House tours are free of charge. The White House tour schedule is subject to change, with little notice, based on inclement weather or official use.
Tours are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, and the White House requires at least two months advance notice to be considered. Requests submitted over three months in advance will be responded to when tour submission becomes possible (three months before the requested dates).
If a tour is available, you will receive an email from the White House Visitor's Center asking you to submit additional personal information such as name, birth date, place of birth, and social security number for security purposes.
The White House also requires tour participants to have valid, federal photo identification in hand prior to taking a tour.
The White House does not guarantee tour acceptance and reserves the right to cancel or modify approved tours at any time.
If you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to call my office at (202) 225-2831.
