The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is pushing outrageous regulations in a power grab that would criminalize firearm ownership for millions of hardworking Americans. Again, the Biden Administration is weaponizing the federal government against everyday Americans, this time with an unconstitutional attack on the Second Amendment.

Under the Biden ATF’s new rule, pistols with a stabilizing brace attachment would be reclassified as short-barreled rifles, and gun owners who fail to register their pistols with stabilizing braces with the ATF could face 10 years in jail and fines up to $10,000.

House Republicans will always defend Americans’ right to bear arms and fight executive overreach and burdensome regulations. This week, the House passed H.J. Res. 44, which will block the Biden Administration’s unconstitutional pistol brace rule and protect Americans’ Second Amendment rights.

I went on Washington Watch with Tony Perkins to discuss the recent indictment of Donald Trump. I think the American people are realizing that the DOJ and FBI has been weaponized. 

1. Did President Biden take classified materials when he wasn't even President?...Check
2. Did Mike Pence have classified materials when he wasn't even President?...Check.
3. Did Hillary Clinton have hundreds of thousands of classified docs from her computer when she wasn't even President?...Check.
4. Did FBI Director Comey give her a pass?...Check.
5. Did the FBI and upper echelon take a fake dossier to the FISA court paid for by Democrat money?...Check.

President Trump is being held to a very different standard. They have been after him from day one. But at the end of the day, is everybody being treated fairly? That's what we want. Justice should be blind.

This week in the district, Team Weber attended the Lamar State College-Port Arthur for The Department of Energy's "Energy Justice to the People Roadshow." The event united a group of individuals devoted to advancing energy justice and sustainability. 

Then they participated in the Alzheimer's Association of Beaumont and Southeast Texas 2023 Walk to End Alzheimer's Corporate Kick-Off Breakfast. On Wednesday, they stopped by the Flag Day ceremony presented by the Angleton Chamber of Commerce. The event saw its largest turnout this year, with guest speakers explaining the flag's significance and singers proudly performing patriotic songs.

• Save $60 by applying for routine service and reduce last minute planning stress.

Check your expiration date:

• Some countries require that your passport be valid at least six months beyond the dates of your trip.

Wait times

• It may take up to two weeks after applying before your application is " In Process".
• Routine applications take 10-13 weeks and expedited applications 7-9 weeks.

Check Status online

• The online tool (passportstatus.state.gov) provides the same info as the call center.
